Richemont seeks an Apprentice Watchmaking Operator (AFP) in Plan-les-Ouates. The position combines hands-on manufacturing rotation with administrative duties in payroll and HR data management.

This apprenticeship is designed to provide a comprehensive view of the watchmaking industry. The apprentice will rotate through various manufacturing zones to acquire practical skills while learning directly from seasoned professionals. Additionally, the role includes supporting administrative functions, ensuring accurate data handling and process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across different production areas to gain practical, hands-on experience in watchmaking.
• Learn technical and operational skills under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
• Validate, enter, and maintain payroll information to guarantee precise service delivery.
• Prepare payroll records for bank transfers and input them into financial software.
• Carry out HR data processing tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Set up and manage a local document filing system for the office or department.
• Create moderately complex documents using standard office applications.
• Assist in HR data analysis to help identify relevant trends.
• Foster positive working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Address and resolve inquiries from internal teams or external partners.
• Extract necessary data and organize it into spreadsheets or standard formats.
• Study and apply the organization’s internal policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Completion of upper secondary school education.
• Solid understanding of basic procedures and operational systems.
• Foundational experience with simple office tools and operational software.
