This full-time position places the optician at the center of ophthalmic diagnostics within a dedicated medical team. The role focuses on guiding patients through structured examination processes while ensuring a high standard of care from the initial consultation.
Responsibilities
- Operate advanced diagnostic tools including OCT, pachymetry, perimetry, fundus photography, scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, visual field testing, and biometry.
- Assist in diagnostic workflows and prepare patients for examinations.
- Provide optional support during surgical interventions such as cataract removal, eye laser treatments, or cross-linking procedures.
- Advise patients regarding vision and corrective measures.
- Maintain structured workflows within a modern clinical environment.
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as an optician (Augenoptikerin/Augenoptiker EFZ) or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new procedures.
- Work with precision and attention to detail.
