This position strengthens the hematopathology department at Pathologie Medica Enge, a leading Swiss pathology institute within the Sonic Suisse network. The role focuses on routine FACS analytics, method development, and supporting stable laboratory workflows to ensure high diagnostic quality across tissue and cell examinations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine FACS analytics for hematopathology cases
- Assist with morphology and FISH analyses when required
- Prepare and process bone marrow aspirate samples
- Support method development and establishment activities
- Perform measurements and assist with pipetting tasks
- Create and maintain laboratory protocols using Excel
- Provide technical support to colleagues during daily lab operations
Requirements
- Completed training as a Biomedical Analyst HF or equivalent qualification
- Experience in hematology with a focus on morphology
- Basic knowledge or interest in flow cytometry and FACS techniques
- Understanding of pre-analytical and analytical factors
- Proficiency in laboratory workflows, documentation, and processes
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to transfer knowledge clearly
- Accurate, structured, and independent working approach
- High attention to quality, reliability, and responsibility
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience preparing bone marrow aspirate specimens
- Familiarity with QUALAB guidelines and internal quality control procedures
