CNC-Polymechanic

SR Technics in Zürich seeks a CNC-Polymechanic to process aircraft components using precision tools and Lean methods. The role requires a Polymechanic EFZ, CNC experience, and B2 German/English skills for a 2-shift on-site position.

This position is part of a global and dynamic organization, focusing on the precise mechanical processing of engine and aircraft parts. The role ensures high-quality manufacturing standards while contributing to continuous process improvement within a structured operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Process engine and aircraft components mechanically based on manufacturer specifications and engineering documents, including techniques like Shotpeen and thermal spray.
• Record all completed tasks and perform independent quality checks to maintain standards.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies, such as 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean Events, to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to all safety, quality, and operational protocols.
• Operate machine tools and precision measuring instruments with accuracy and independence.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints with precision.

Requirements

• Successfully completed apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ with a specialization in manufacturing.
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator, including knowledge of control system programming.
• Proficiency in handling machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong communication skills in both English and German, at a minimum B2 level.
• Availability to work in a 2-shift system.
• Valid work permit for EU/EFTA citizens.
