Mid-level full-time Domestic Couple position in Lauenen, Switzerland, requiring housekeeping, cooking, driving, and family support duties. Live-in accommodation provided. Fluency in English or French required; Swiss German is a strong advantage.

This role involves managing household operations and supporting a family in a private residence in Lauenen, Switzerland, with responsibilities spanning domestic care, meal preparation, driving, and occasional childcare and pet care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-standard housekeeping including cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, bed linen care, wardrobe management, and polishing of fine surfaces and silverware.
• Prepare healthy, family-style meals during off-seasons and assist with basic service as needed.
• Manage household shopping, restocking supplies, and running errands as required.
• Handle driving duties for errands and logistics, and perform basic maintenance on a small fleet of vehicles.
• Keep light outdoor areas tidy and complete seasonal property tasks.
• Care for two dogs by walking, feeding, and ensuring their general wellbeing.
• Provide occasional childcare support during visits from grandchildren.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Domestic Couple in a private household, with live-in experience preferred.
• Strong housekeeping, laundry, and organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in preparing healthy, family-style meals.
• Valid driving licence with proven driving skills, especially in mountain and winter conditions.
• Comfortable interacting with dogs and children in a household setting.
• Reliable, discreet, flexible, and service-focused work ethic.
• Fluent in English or French; Swiss German is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively as a couple.
