Responsibilities
Carry out repairs and maintenance independently across technical areas such as electrical, plumbing, and painting.
Monitor and maintain building systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and electrical installations.
Perform regular inspections and safety checks on technical systems.
Complete daily scheduled maintenance tasks.
Handle minor repairs on plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and mechanical equipment.
Do surface and finish repairs including furniture touch-ups, paintwork, vinyl repair, and silicone application.
Keep track of inventories and daily checklists, reporting faults and breakdowns to the Property Manager.
Assist with special maintenance projects as needed.
Complete any other reasonable tasks assigned by the Property Manager or Group Chief Engineer.
Follow safety and environmental standards, ensuring Life Safety and Fire Safety equipment meets regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a hotel or private household setting.
Good command of English.
Solid understanding of local suppliers and the surrounding area.
What the company offers
Hourly position averaging 20 hours per week.
Standard schedule: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day plus a 1-hour break when the property is unoccupied.
Days off (weekends and public holidays) may need adjustment when the property is occupied, within legal limits.
