This position supports a private household of two adults in Geneva, where the current live-in housekeeper is retiring and the live-out housekeeper will retire next year. Responsibilities
- Maintain the home’s cleanliness and order through daily tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and deep-cleaning as needed.
- Handle laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care, paying attention to fabric types and garment-specific needs.
- Prepare simple, balanced home-cooked meals for the household when they are in Geneva or Schönried.
- No cooking required when the family is in Corsica.
- Assist with grocery shopping, restocking supplies, and running errands to support household operations.
- Occasionally travel to Schönried to help manage the household during the family’s stays there.
Requirements
- Proven experience in private household settings, including housekeeping, laundry, and cooking.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in maintaining a tidy and efficient home environment.
