A private household in Gstaad is seeking a skilled Housekeeper or House Manager to ensure the chalet is maintained to the highest standards. The role involves overseeing daily housekeeping, laundry, and household operations, while adapting to the family’s schedule and needs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out thorough cleaning and organization of the chalet to a high standard.
• Handle delicate fabrics, fine linens, and luxury clothing with care.
• Keep all rooms spotless and ready for guests at all times.
• Manage household supplies and track inventory levels.
• Coordinate household operations and liaise with external service providers.
• Support household planning and organization during the client’s residence.
• Supervise and collaborate with additional staff during busy periods.
• Adjust work hours according to the client’s presence and schedule.
• Occasionally assist with extra tasks when the family is in the chalet.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in high-end housekeeping environments.
• Fluency in at least one of the following languages: English, French, or Russian.
• Valid driver’s license and familiarity with the Gstaad region.
• Ability to work independently and maintain discretion.
• Flexibility to adapt to the family’s changing needs and schedules.
