Installation Team - ZURICH (CH)

MicroHabitat seeks an Installation Team member in Zürich to set up rooftop and ground-level urban gardens. The role involves physical outdoor work, material transport, and system installation within the world's largest urban farm network.

This position supports MicroHabitat's mission to enhance urban environments through agriculture. The team installs rooftop and ground-level gardens for various clients, contributing to the world's largest urban farm network while improving local quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Move plants and supplies to designated production areas.
• Collaborate with the MicroHabitat crew to open and prepare garden spaces during installation phases.
• Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the project.
• Handle tasks such as watering plants, trellising tomatoes, and setting up irrigation and support structures.
• Act as a representative of the company during installation projects.
• Execute duties related to establishing production zones.
• Adhere to and enforce safety guidelines for agricultural operations.

Requirements

• Be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items.
• Comfortable working outside in warm weather conditions.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
• Willing to work extended hours and engage in hands-on work.
• Maintain good physical fitness.
• Have access to a personal vehicle or dependable transportation.
• Own a working mobile phone.
• Demonstrate an interest in gardening or agriculture.
