Johnson & Johnson seeks a Manager of Executive Talent Acquisition in Zug to lead high-level recruiting for DePuy Synthes, focusing on strategy, stakeholder partnership, and diverse talent pipelines.
This position is responsible for directing executive-level recruiting strategies for DePuy Synthes. The role involves collaborating with senior leadership and HR teams to attract top-tier management talent. It provides a chance to operate at the intersection of strategy and talent within a global MedTech organization that is currently undergoing significant transformation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete executive recruitment lifecycle for critical and senior leadership positions across DePuy Synthes.
- Collaborate with executive leaders and HR partners to establish leadership profiles, hiring strategies, and succession requirements.
- Create proactive sourcing plans, such as market mapping and direct outreach, to cultivate diverse pipelines of executive candidates.
- Coordinate executive search processes, including management of external search firms when necessary.
- Guarantee a confidential, inclusive, and high-touch candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Deliver market insights, talent intelligence, and hiring recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, governance standards, and data-privacy regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement in executive talent acquisition processes, tools, and assessment methods.
- Handle administrative document tasks, including printing, stamping, mailing, and routing for wet signatures.
- Manage HR records by storing, archiving, and retrieving documents, and coordinate offsite storage or scanning for Veeva.
- Support compliance and administrative duties, such as uploading filings, hand-delivering documents to agencies, and assisting with audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Typically 6-8 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including executive or senior-level recruiting.
- Demonstrated experience managing executive search processes and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Strong ability to assess leadership capability, potential, and cultural alignment.
- Proven stakeholder-management and influencing skills at executive levels.
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
- Experience working in complex, matrixed, and global organizations.
- Fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience recruiting in a regulated industry such as MedTech, Pharma, or Healthcare.
- Familiarity with global executive talent markets and diversity-focused hiring practices.
- Experience partnering with external executive search firms and assessment providers.
- Exposure to workforce planning or succession planning initiatives.
- Additional European language(s) preferred.
- Talent acquisition, executive search, or HR certifications preferred but not required.
