Holzbau AG in Mörel seeks a Metalworker for full-time onsite work. The role involves fabricating metal structures and performing welding tasks within a timber construction team.
This position is part of a comprehensive timber construction firm that manages the entire project lifecycle from design to installation. The successful candidate will join a skilled group working on advanced wood construction projects in the canton of Valais.
Responsibilities
- Fabricating metal components such as railings, stairs, and structural steel elements in the workshop.
- Executing welding tasks using MAG, MIG, or electric arc methods based on individual qualifications.
- Processing metal parts through cutting, bending, drilling, and general machining operations.
- Reading and interpreting technical blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Maintaining, repairing, and modifying machinery and workshop equipment.
- Delivering work with precision, cleanliness, and adherence to schedules.
Requirements
- Completion of vocational training as a metalworker or metal fabricator (EFZ), or an equivalent credential.
- Practical experience in metal fabrication and proficiency with standard welding techniques.
- Strong manual dexterity, technical aptitude, and a meticulous work ethic.
- Ability to work independently, reliably, and with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong teamwork skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Physical stamina and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
