The European Space Agency offers a one-year National Graduate Trainee program for Master’s graduates, providing hands-on experience in space disciplines through national agency agreements.
This traineeship allows recent Master’s graduates to acquire practical skills in various space-related fields, including Earth observation, telecommunications, navigation, mission control, human spaceflight, and space science, via bilateral agreements with national agencies.
Responsibilities
- Complete on-the-job training under the supervision of an assigned tutor at an ESA facility.
- Develop professional expertise that may support future career opportunities in Europe’s space sector, research institutions, or within ESA.
- Collaborate within an international, multicultural, and supportive team environment.
Requirements

- Receive 2.5 days of leave each month.
