Pfadibewegung Schweiz seeks a volunteer People Communications Manager to handle participant information for Roverway 2028. This mid-level role involves creating clear content and coordinating translations for a major international scouting event.
Positioned within the People Division’s Department of People Communication & Information, this volunteer role is essential for ensuring that participant-related details reach the right audiences at the right time. The primary goal is to make all Roverway 2028 communications clear, appropriate, and engaging for diverse target groups.
Responsibilities
- Draft and refine participant information to ensure it is clear, appealing, and tailored to specific audiences.
- Create and update content for the People Website, email newsletters, FAQs, and other official documents.
- Manage the translation process to guarantee consistent and understandable messaging across all required languages.
- Collaborate with the People Information Flow Manager to align information distribution across different divisions.
Requirements
- A strong commitment of time and motivation for a multi-year volunteer engagement.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for design and content creation.
- Excellent language skills and a natural aptitude for communication.
- Interest in digital communication tools and information management systems.
- Ability to maintain a broad overview of project progress and details.
- Proficiency in English or another national language.
Nice to have
- Prior experience writing or editing content for various platforms such as websites, newsletters, social media, or club communications.
