This position places a nursing professional within a specialized surgical environment at a private clinic in Zurich. The role focuses on delivering acute urological and surgical care while actively contributing to the development of nursing standards and interdisciplinary cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive supervision and care for patients undergoing urological and surgical treatments.
• Independently execute diagnostic and therapeutic interventions alongside physicians and other health staff.
• Identify emergency scenarios promptly and initiate necessary immediate actions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure seamless information handovers.
• Lead short educational sessions and participate in internal quality evaluations.
• Contribute to the professional growth of the ward staff.
• Actively support the maintenance and enhancement of high-quality care standards.

Requirements

• Completion of nursing training as a Dipl. Nurse (HF/FH), Bachelor of Science in Nursing, licensed nurse, or equivalent health care professional qualification.
• Prior work experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Proficient German language skills for both verbal and written communication.
• Competence in using digital documentation platforms.
