Polier Tiefbau m/w/d

Volken Beton AG seeks a Foreman for civil engineering in Visp to independently manage construction sites, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient execution while coordinating with clients and teams.

This position focuses on the independent and professional oversight of civil engineering projects. The role ensures that construction activities are completed on schedule, efficiently, and to a high standard. The foreman acts as the primary liaison between site management, external clients, and the on-site workforce, while also handling material logistics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction sites independently and professionally
• Ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality project execution
• Manage material procurement and prepare necessary reports
• Serve as the main contact for site management, clients, and on-site personnel
• Ensure strict adherence to work safety and environmental protection regulations

Requirements

• Successfully completed training as a foreman (Polier) or lead worker (Vorarbeiter)
• Several years of professional experience in civil engineering (Tiefbau) is desirable
• Demonstrates an independent, responsible, and efficient working style
• Shows high initiative, a confident demeanor, and strong leadership capabilities
• Fluent proficiency in German, both written and spoken
