ROCKEN seeks a Senior Project Engineer for Energy & Media Supply in Solothurn. This on-site role focuses on optimizing industrial infrastructure and managing technical projects from concept to commissioning.
This position acts as the central hub for operational infrastructure within a leading Swiss production facility. The engineer is responsible for shaping sustainable energy supply and guiding future-oriented media projects from initial sketches through to practical implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve industrial systems for utilities such as steam, cold air, compressed air, water, and ventilation.
- Guarantee a reliable, efficient, and demand-driven supply of all necessary production media.
- Oversee technical projects comprehensively, managing them from the initial concept phase until final commissioning.
- Serve as the primary liaison between production, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Analyze operational data systematically to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A university degree in Energy Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or Process Technology.
- Proven experience in planning energy and supply systems within industrial settings.
- A solid understanding of complex process technology and the fluctuating dynamics of industrial energy demand.
- Knowledge regarding the automation and digitalization of modern energy management systems.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive concrete technical measures.
