The cbs group seeks a Senior Group Tax Expert to lead national and international tax strategy and compliance from its Heidelberg headquarters.
This newly established position sits at the core of the cbs group’s headquarters. The incumbent will collaborate closely with the Head of Tax to define the group’s overall tax strategy and assume full accountability for all domestic and cross-border tax matters.
Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end tax compliance activities
- Performing complex tax calculations
- Coordinating and supporting tax audit processes
Requirements
- A completed university degree specializing in tax law or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum five years of professional experience in tax roles within multinational corporations or advisory firms
- Proven track record in executing tax compliance workflows
- Fluent command of both German and English for written and verbal communication
Nice to have
- Foundational understanding of international tax regulations, including familiarity with OECD Pillar Two
- Strong interest in leveraging IT solutions to digitize and expand tax processes
