This position sits within the largest full-service medical care system in Switzerland, which includes multiple hospitals and a rehabilitation center. The physician will conduct independent diagnostics while working closely with clinicians and participating in tumor board discussions to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with other dermatopathologists, pathologists, and clinical teams.
- Conduct independent diagnostic assessments across the full range of dermatopathology cases.
- Present histological findings during internal clinicopathological conferences and tumor board meetings.
- Drive continuous improvement in service quality and operational performance.
- Lead or support research initiatives within the field of dermatopathology.
- Engage in teaching, continuing education, and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Board certification as a dermatologist with completed subspecialty training in dermatopathology, or board certification as a pathologist with specific expertise in dermatopathology.
- Possession of the ICDP (UEMS International Board Certification in Dermatopathology) diploma, or a commitment to obtain it shortly.
- Demonstrate responsibility for delivering high-quality dermatopathology services.
- Utilize molecular pathological diagnostics to address complex dermatological and pediatric dermatological inquiries.
- Communicate effectively and confidently in German.

- An interest in academic dermatology.
- Proficiency in French.
