Johnson & Johnson seeks a Senior Strategic Supplier OUS Support professional in Zuchwil to manage supplier partnerships for Engineering & Property Services across international regions.

This position is essential for fostering compliant and value-driven supplier relationships within the Outside the United States (OUS) scope of Engineering & Property Services. The role supports regional and global strategies for Real Estate, Facilities Management, and Corporate Operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational excellence, cost efficiency, and service quality across a diverse international footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic supplier and category plans for E&PS services in OUS regions, aligning with global goals.
  • Work with regional stakeholders to manage supplier performance, ensuring service level adherence, resolving issues, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding, governance, and compliance activities according to Johnson & Johnson and DePuy Synthes policies.
  • Assist with contract lifecycle management, including implementation, renewals, and change management, ensuring alignment with sourcing strategies.
  • Analyze supplier performance, spend, and operational data to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Global and Regional Procurement, E&PS, and Finance teams to support cost optimization and risk mitigation.
  • Support regional and global supplier reviews, business reviews, and governance forums.
  • Ensure supplier activities comply with applicable regulatory, quality, sustainability, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Typically 5–8 years of relevant work experience in procurement, supplier management, facilities services, or related operational roles.
  • Experience supporting strategic suppliers or categories in a regional or global environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Solid understanding of contract management principles and supplier governance processes.
  • English required.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) or advanced coursework in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience supporting Real Estate, Facilities Management, or Corporate Services categories.
  • Familiarity with global procurement tools, sourcing platforms, and performance management frameworks.
  • Experience working in a regulated or highly matrixed global organization.
  • Exposure to supplier risk management, sustainability, or ESG initiatives.
  • Prior experience supporting OUS or EMEA regions.
  • Clear, professional communication skills for stakeholder and supplier engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supplier performance and spend data.
  • Additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Procurement or Supply Chain certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) preferred but not required.
