AniCura Schweiz seeks a Senior Veterinary Radiologist to lead diagnostic imaging services in Thun. The role involves advanced imaging, team supervision, and cross-departmental collaboration.
This position is based at a growing referral and specialty clinic in Thun, near Bern. The primary purpose of the role is to lead and further develop the diagnostic imaging service, ensuring high standards of care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform and interpret advanced imaging diagnostics, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and radiography.
- Drive the development of the radiology department by optimizing workflows and establishing protocols.
- Collaborate with surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and emergency teams for case discussions and image interpretation.
- Supervise and train interns and junior veterinarians in diagnostic imaging techniques.
- Build strong relationships with referring veterinarians and share knowledge to enhance the referral service.
Requirements
- Completed degree in veterinary medicine.
- Diplomate ACVR or ECVDI, or board-eligible.
- Fluent in German or English.
