  • Create and update high-quality metadata and cataloguing records.
  • Administer taxonomies, classification structures, and controlled vocabularies.
  • Enhance information discoverability and retrieval through effective knowledge organization.
  • Participate in data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Operate and maintain library and information management platforms.
  • Work with technology teams and vendors on system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance and generate operational reports.
  • Support the implementation of digital information management solutions.
  • Explore emerging technologies, such as AI-based solutions, to improve information services.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance user experience, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Lead and support small-scale projects related to systems, metadata, and service improvements.
  • Drive innovation within information and knowledge management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with copyright, licensing, and data protection regulations.
  • Assist with procurement activities, contract administration, and vendor management.
  • Monitor service performance and provide insights through KPIs and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand evolving information needs.
  • Develop partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, and professional networks.
  • Promote information services and raise awareness of available resources across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience in research, reference, and literature search.
  • Knowledge of information discovery and search methodologies.
  • Proficiency in reference management and document delivery.
