Associate Director - Clinical Project Management (IQVIA Biotech)

IQVIA AG seeks an Associate Director for Clinical Project Management within its Biotech team to lead CNS studies, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.

This position is integral to IQVIA’s Biotech division, specifically focusing on Central Nervous System (CNS) studies. The role is responsible for managing and supporting the operational execution of clinical programs to guarantee timely delivery, high quality, financial success, and overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid defense presentations alongside Business Development for major studies.
• Create or assist in developing integrated study management plans.
• Oversee the strategic planning and execution of clinical studies.
• Act as the main point of contact and oversight for clients.
• Define goals for the core project team and provide leadership and feedback.
• Manage problem-solving efforts, including risk and contingency management.
• Mentor and coach junior staff on project delivery and risk mitigation.
• Ensure project financial success through optimal resource management.
• Identify scope changes and manage the change control process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in clinical research.
• Minimum of 6 years in project management roles.
• Extensive, hands-on experience with CNS studies.
• At least 3 years as a Senior Clinical Project Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Proven negotiation and customer management skills.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial conduct and ICH GCP guidelines.
