Lenz und Staehelin seeks a mid-level Lawyer in Public Law for its Geneva office. The role involves handling competition, procurement, and administrative litigation matters within a dynamic team.

The company is looking to bolster its public law practice in Geneva with a new lawyer. This position is available for immediate start or at a mutually agreed date, focusing on strengthening the department's capabilities in key regulatory areas.

Responsibilities

  • Handling mandates related to competition law investigations.
  • Supporting clients in mergers and acquisitions processes.
  • Managing public procurement procedures.
  • Representing clients in administrative litigation.
  • Advising on competition law, public procurement, and regulated sectors.
  • Assisting with the establishment of associations and public utility foundations in the philanthropy sector.
  • Managing relationships with tax and supervisory authorities for foundations and associations.
  • Conducting regular monitoring of entities to address their evolving legal needs.
  • Working on mandates concerning the Host State Act.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid Swiss attorney-at-law certificate.
  • Demonstrate strong academic qualifications through Swiss legal education.
  • Show a clear interest in public law, including competition law, public procurement, regulated sectors, foundations, associations, philanthropy, the Host State Act, and contract law.
  • Be fluent in both French and English.
  • Have good passive knowledge of German.
  • Exhibit excellent team spirit and collaboration skills.
