Roche seeks a Senior Product Steward in Basel to lead technical industrialization and sustain the health of biologics drug substance products throughout their commercial lifecycle within the gMSAT department.
This position serves as the process and product owner for commercial biologics within the global Manufacturing Science and Technology (gMSAT) department. The primary objective is to drive technical industrialization and ensure the ongoing technical health of products from initial manufacturability through to potential divestment.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategies for technical industrialization and improvements related to Drug Substance.
- Manage the product’s technical strategic roadmap across its entire commercial lifecycle, including the identification and mitigation of technical risks.
- Act as the main technical authority for site leadership and quality teams during investigations into product or process issues.
- Represent the product in key technical governance forums and engage with senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field such as biotechnology, pharmacy, or biology.
- Minimum of seven years of industrial experience in platform-specific process development or manufacturing operations.
- Proven background in Drug Substance or Drug Product manufacturing, technology industrialization, and process development for biological molecules.
- Experience with technology transfer, process validation, and pharmaceutical quality systems.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory submission processes and health authority requirements.
