Responsibilities
- Offer continuous, unobtrusive supervision to safeguard the principal’s well-being during the night.
- Provide a reassuring presence during awakenings or disturbances to help the principal feel secure.
- Assist with moving in and out of bed as needed.
- Support with restroom use and other personal hygiene needs.
- Engage in conversation or companionship if the principal is unable to sleep.
Requirements
- Previous experience in overnight caregiving, companion care, or similar support roles.
- Calm, patient, and emotionally supportive demeanor, capable of offering comfort and reassurance.
- Flexible and adaptable, especially if working in a rotating schedule with another night attendant.
