SDI Human Resources GmbH is looking for an experienced and caring live-in caregiver to support an elderly client. The role involves maintaining the client’s daily routine, providing emotional companionship, and assisting with light housekeeping. The caregiver will also accompany the client on occasional trips to Geneva, Gstaad, and London, ensuring comfort and smooth travel logistics.
Responsibilities
- Support the elderly client by following their daily schedule, offering companionship, and engaging in meaningful conversations.
- Prepare nutritious and well-presented meals for lunch and dinner, respecting dietary needs and preferences.
- Handle light housekeeping tasks such as making the bed and keeping the living space clean and organized.
- Assist the client during travel to Geneva, Gstaad, and London, including packing, arranging transport, and ensuring a comfortable journey.
Requirements
- Prior experience caring for elderly individuals is required.
- Basic cooking ability to prepare balanced, appetizing meals.
- Experience in maintaining daily routines and offering emotional support.
- Familiarity with light housekeeping, including bed-making and general cleaning.
- Strong communication skills in English; French is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different environments.
- Patient, respectful, and compassionate attitude.
- Must be a non-smoker.
