familea seeks a Child Care Specialist for its Basel day care center to supervise mixed-age groups of toddlers and infants while supporting apprentices and collaborating with parents.
This position is based at the day care center located on Novartis Lichtstrasse in Basel. The primary focus is the supervision and support of mixed-age groups of children ranging from 3 months to 3 years old, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for their development.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support mixed-age groups of children between 3 months and 3 years of age.
- Mentor and guide apprentices and interns within the facility.
- Maintain open, trusting, and customer-oriented cooperation with parents.
- Plan and execute a varied daily routine that respects the individuality of each child.
Requirements
- Completed education as a childcare specialist, completed studies as a social or childhood educator or similar pedagogical training.
- Professional experience, with strong personal and social skills.
- English mother tongue or near-native.
- Confirmation of equivalence from the SERI for foreign diplomas.
