Clinical Data Strategy, Manager

Novartis Pharma Schweiz AG seeks a Clinical Data Strategy Manager in Basel to lead data planning and oversight for Neuroscience trials within a hybrid work model.

This position is dedicated to the Neuroscience therapeutic area, where the incumbent will execute and support end-to-end data strategy activities at both the trial and program levels. The role ensures that data strategies are robustly planned and effectively implemented to support clinical development goals.

Responsibilities

• Create Data Strategy Plans to facilitate early-stage data planning and risk assessment.
• Offer subject matter expertise on data visualization and exploration to provide downstream data oversight.
• Conduct early data strategy landscaping for specific indications using internal and external data sources.
• Advise on the selection, implementation, risk assessment, and oversight of appropriate clinical assessments.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in pharmaceuticals, CROs, hospitals, or healthcare settings.
• Strong background in clinical trial planning, strategy, and data collection/oversight.
• Deep knowledge of COAs/PROs and specific assessments used in Neuroscience trials.
• Understanding of drug development processes and relevant regulations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with ambiguity, changing needs, and working with global, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Additional knowledge in therapeutic areas other than Neuroscience.
