Generali Switzerland seeks a Cost Controlling Expert for a full-time, fixed-term role in Adliswil until January 2027, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
This position is central to the team's financial oversight, tasked with managing planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities while delivering key metrics to senior leadership. The role drives proactive cost management strategies and supports the stabilization of existing controlling structures. It is a fixed-term contract ending on 31 January 2027.
Responsibilities
- Manage operational cost controlling processes, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and cost allocation.
- Provide key financial figures and insights to stakeholders and senior management.
- Oversee costs related to IT, technology, operations, and projects, collaborating with business and portfolio management teams.
- Stabilize and optimize current structures, processes, and data flows within cost controlling.
- Support the development and implementation of processes for proactive cost management.
- Handle ad hoc management requests and cost-related analyses.
Requirements
- University or university of applied sciences degree in business, economics, or a similar field.
- At least five years of professional experience in controlling.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Professional communication in English.
- Good knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP BW.
Nice to have
- Specific experience in cost controlling and/or in the insurance industry.
- German proficiency.
