Tsmg seeks a Junior Driver / Data Collector in Lienz, CH, for a 3- to 6-month contract to capture street-level images in public areas across EU countries. The role involves driving assigned routes, installing 360-degree cameras, and reporting progress using digital tools.

This project supports the enhancement of one of the world’s most widely used online maps by collecting visual data from streets, points of interest, and public areas in EU countries. Data collectors will follow specific routes in commercial and historical districts, contributing to a global mapping initiative that requires human input where automation is not feasible.

Responsibilities

  • Mount 360-degree removable cameras on the roof of a vehicle
  • Drive along designated routes to capture images of streets, public areas, and points of interest
  • Report project progress and any issues encountered during data collection
  • Use digital tools such as Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet, and WhatsApp for communication and documentation

Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrate strong driving skills and maintain a clean driving record
  • Be in good physical condition to handle camera installation (6 kg, 1 m height)
  • Be available for a minimum of 3 months
  • Show a high level of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and capable of working independently

Nice to have

  • Access to a private, monitored parking space for the company vehicle
  • Basic knowledge of car mechanics or maintenance
  • Preference for driving during standard business hours
