TSMG seeks a Driver/Data Collector for Prato/Florence to capture street imagery for mapping platforms. Requires EU license, 5+ years driving experience, and local language skills.
The company is gathering high-resolution visual data from public streets, commercial zones, and landmarks across EU regions to improve a major online mapping service. This contract role, lasting three to six months, involves driving assigned routes to record surroundings using specialized equipment.
Responsibilities
- Drive along designated paths through public roads, shopping districts, and notable sites.
- Record detailed images of the environment using vehicles fitted with 360-degree cameras and lidar sensors.
- Return to specific locations when weather conditions are optimal to guarantee superior image clarity.
- Work full-time during standard business hours, typically between 8 AM and 7 PM.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license issued by an EU member state.
- Pass a background check with no criminal history and a clean driving record.
- Demonstrate at least five years of general driving experience.
- Showcase professional driving background, such as taxi, delivery, or logistics work.
- Communicate fluently in English and the local language of the operating area.
- Understand basic vehicle maintenance and mechanics.
- Know the local geography and routes well.
