TSMG seeks a Driver/Data Collector based in Prato to capture high-quality street imagery for a major mapping platform across Italy. The role requires a valid EU license, professional driving experience, and proficiency in English and the local language.
This position supports a project dedicated to gathering high-quality visual data from streets, public spaces, and points of interest throughout EU countries. The collected imagery will directly enhance a leading online mapping platform. Assignments typically last between three and six months, requiring the driver to operate in the Prato area while covering regions such as Firenze and Pistoia.
Responsibilities
- Navigate pre-assigned routes through public streets, commercial districts, and notable landmarks.
- Record comprehensive images of the surrounding environment using vehicles fitted with removable 360° cameras and lidars.
- Return to specific locations during optimal weather conditions to guarantee the highest possible image quality.
Requirements
- Hold a valid driver’s license issued by an EU member state.
- Pass a thorough background check with no criminal or driving record issues.
- Have a minimum of five years of driving experience.
- Possess professional driving background, such as taxi, delivery, or logistics work.
- Be fluent in English and the local language.
- Demonstrate tech-savviness with GSuite tools, including Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Forms.
- Understand basic vehicle mechanics.
- Be familiar with the local operating area.
