Resiliv seeks a Field Data Collection Driver in Biel/Bienne, CH, to support a high-precision digital mapping project by capturing 360-degree imagery along set routes. The role requires a valid driver’s license, 3+ years of driving experience, and the ability to work independently onsite.
This position supports a digital mapping initiative by collecting high-precision geospatial imagery to power global mapping platforms. The driver operates specialized vehicles equipped with camera systems to capture detailed, 360-degree views of roads and environments.
Responsibilities
- Drive a vehicle fitted with 360-degree camera systems to capture comprehensive visual data.
- Follow daily assigned routes to ensure complete coverage of designated areas.
- Transfer collected data from onboard devices to the system after each workday.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to maintain optimal functionality.
- Report technical issues or updates to the support team as needed.
- Represent the program professionally in public spaces during operations.
Requirements
- Hold a valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience.
- Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations in the last three years.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and comfort using mobile apps or in-vehicle technology.
- Be able to lift up to 25 lb (10–15 kg) occasionally and assist with basic equipment setup.
- Work independently, reliably, and self-motivated during extended shifts.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in field data collection, delivery driving, or GIS-related roles.
- Familiarity with geospatial tools or interest in mapping technologies.
