Responsibilities

  • Assist in surgeries under supervision and perform procedures on own patients according to autonomy level
  • Conduct patient consultations and monitor hospitalized individuals
  • Support resident physicians in their duties
  • Participate in clinical and scientific research projects
  • Help organize and lead medical conferences and meetings
  • Contribute to writing scientific articles for publication and communication

Requirements

  • Hold a Swiss FMH title or a recognized foreign specialist title (MEBEKO) in orthopedic surgery and traumatology
  • If holding a Swiss FMH, must have authorization to practice and bill in the canton of Vaud or be eligible for it
  • Demonstrate certified proficiency in French and knowledge of English
  • Possess Swiss or EU/EFTA nationality, or a valid Swiss residence permit
