FinCrime Analyst (Investigations)

Revolution Digital Services AG seeks a Mid-level FinCrime Analyst for a remote role in Switzerland. The position focuses on investigating suspicious activities, managing SARs, and ensuring regulatory compliance within Financial Crime Operations.

This position sits within the Financial Crime Operations team, with the primary objective of safeguarding customers and their assets. The analyst is responsible for detecting suspicious behavior, ensuring equitable customer treatment, and conducting in-depth investigations into internal Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and complex cases using strong analytical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews, investigations, and reporting for financial crime incidents.
• Monitor ongoing situations and address formal complaints, including those from the Financial Ombudsman Service.
• Manage consent refusals appropriately after SAR submissions.
• Serve as the liaison for law enforcement agencies regarding criminal investigations stemming from submitted SARs.
• Adhere strictly to established policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide efficient compliance support and help enhance company processes.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree with a verifiable certificate.
• At least three years of experience in financial crime investigations, or one year of SAR reporting experience.
• Professional fluency in English (C1+ level).
• Prior experience in regulated or policy-driven environments, such as financial institutions or law enforcement.
• Proficiency in investigative methodologies using analytical tools like spreadsheets, filters, pivots, and network charts.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Adaptability to fast-cycle feedback environments.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

• Fluency in additional languages.
• A degree in law or a STEM field.
• Professional certifications such as ICA or ACAMS.
• Knowledge of jurisdiction-specific financial regulations.
• Experience in crypto or blockchain analysis.
