Avesco Rent SA is seeking a Junior Assistant Mechanic & Technical Support Specialist for hybrid roles in Hornbach Hegnau and Sirnach, Switzerland. The position involves workshop support, equipment maintenance, and on-site customer service.

The company is looking for a technical professional to assist the workshop team at the Hegnau location and provide direct technical support at HORNBACH partner branches. This role ensures that machinery and vehicles are maintained, repaired, and prepared for rental while handling on-site customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the mechanic team at the Hegnau branch with daily tasks.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep on machines and vehicles.
• Prepare rental equipment for subsequent use.
• Ensure efficient workshop operations.
• Provide technical support to the HORNBACH branch in Sirnach.
• Maintain, repair, and commission machinery at customer locations.
• Order necessary spare parts and consumables.
• Handle small transport tasks.
• Offer competent, service-oriented support to customers on-site.

Requirements

• Completed training as a machine operator, mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong technical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and in a solution-oriented manner.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel within the supported region.
• Openness to digital tools and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Customer-oriented and professional demeanor.
