Housekeeper position in Lauenen, Switzerland, for a private chalet. Requires experience in high-standard housekeeping, ironing, laundry, and errand-running. Must live locally and have a driver’s license. Offers live-out arrangement, full-year workload, and long-term contract.

This role involves maintaining a private chalet in Lauenen to a very high standard, ensuring the property is immaculate and ready for the principal and guests, especially during their residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping and property upkeep to a high standard
• Iron clothing and household linen, including delicate items
• Manage laundry for clothing, bed linens, towels, and other household textiles
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, buying flowers, and dry goods
• Prepare mise en place and assist with light service when needed
• Keep the home organized, clean, and prepared for the principal and visitors
• Work independently and proactively identify and complete tasks

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in private households or luxury hospitality settings
• Strong ironing skills, including for linen and delicate fabrics
• Ability to work autonomously with little supervision
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required
• Residence in the Gstaad / Lauenen area is mandatory

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German or Swiss German is beneficial
