nanoTRONIC AG seeks an IT System Administrator/Engineer for its Lyss site. The role focuses on network infrastructure, security, and cross-disciplinary project support within a regulated engineering environment.
This position supports the company’s interdisciplinary teams, which integrate mechanics, electronics, and software development. The engineer will maintain and evolve the IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable services across all locations while contributing to security and documentation standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the existing network infrastructure
- Plan, evaluate, and implement IT services across all company sites
- Drive improvements in IT infrastructure and keep documentation up to date
- Monitor system services and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Manage and resolve technical incidents
- Provide second and third-level technical support
- Assist first-level support staff with complex issues
Requirements
- EFZ qualification as a computer scientist or equivalent higher education degree (BSc/MSc from FH, TU, or ETH)
- Several years of professional experience in IT or computer science
- Strong expertise in network technologies and cybersecurity practices
- Proficient in Linux administration and virtualization tools such as QEMU and LXC
- Working proficiency in both German and English
Nice to have
- Prior experience with Windows Server environments
- Basic knowledge of the French language
