This position operates within a global technology leader focused on digital identity, security, aerospace, and defense. The administrator will support Swiss banks and financial institutions by delivering secure and reliable card solutions for both digital and physical transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain ICT services within complex, diverse environments.
- Identify and resolve intricate technical incidents, including initiating escalation and fallback protocols as necessary.
- Perform and verify system recovery, restart, and restoration procedures to guarantee uptime.
- Track system performance and workload, applying tuning and optimization strategies.
- Uphold information security standards and oversee data backup operations.
- Lead and assist with IT infrastructure initiatives, such as migrations, upgrades, and expansions.
- Provide second- and third-level support to users and development teams, while maintaining system documentation.
Requirements
- A completed qualification in IT system engineering or platform development.
- Minimum of two years of experience working within complex IT settings.
- Proficient knowledge of networking platforms like Cisco or Palo Alto.
- Expertise in virtualization solutions, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Strong understanding of networking, firewall management, and IDS.
- Fluency in both German and English.
