ETH Zurich seeks a Senior Research & Industry Integration Coordinator for the 'Living Lab HIL' project in Zürich. The role focuses on translating academic findings into construction practice through scientific project management and industry collaboration.
This position supports the 'Living Lab HIL' initiative, which bridges academic research and real-world construction applications. The coordinator will manage project collaborations, oversee scientific accompaniment, and ensure that current research outcomes are effectively integrated into planning and implementation phases.
Responsibilities
- Provide content and organizational assistance for scientific collaborations with professorships.
- Serve as the strategic link for cooperation with industrial partners and ETH spin-offs.
- Collaborate with the ETH Foundation to secure funding partnerships.
- Assess and prepare research results and industrial collaborations for integration into construction projects across all phases.
- Coordinate and contribute to collaborative scientific publications, including papers and reports.
- Maintain active internal coordination with the Head of 'Input Projects'.
Requirements
- Completed Ph.D. in Architecture, Civil Engineering, sustainable building development, or a related field.
- Proven publication record and experience writing scientific texts at an international level.
- Strong connection to architectural/construction practice and experience transferring research to industry.
- Fluent English and very good German skills.
Nice to have
- Experience working with industrial partners and third-party funders.
- Strong interface management skills.
