Lonza seeks a Manufacturing Specialist for its Ibex® Solutions facility in Visp, Switzerland. The role supports biological product development and manufacturing within the Life Sciences division.
This position operates within the Ibex® Solutions framework, a modular system designed for the development and production of biological products. Based in Visp, the role contributes to expansion efforts across multiple Life Sciences business units.
Responsibilities
- Carry out production tasks while adhering to safety protocols and cGMP quality standards.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve process deviations.
- Perform manufacturing steps, including necessary documentation and calculations.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
Requirements
- Degree in chemistry or biopharmaceuticals.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, such as an operator or production technician role.
- Commitment to safety-conscious practices.
- Understanding of process engineering principles.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Availability for shift work, including a 4-shift pattern with flexible scheduling.
