Mental Health Therapist - 1099 Contractor - Montana

Lyrahealth seeks an independently licensed clinical therapist in Montana for a hybrid 1099 contractor role providing evidence-based therapy to diverse clients.

This position involves delivering evidence-based therapeutic services to children, adults, couples, and families across specific Montana locations. The role is structured as a 1099 contractor engagement managed through Lyra Clinical Associates, allowing for independent practice while supporting client care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy to children, adults, couples, and families.
• Prioritize in-person care delivery for clients who prefer face-to-face sessions.
• Manage clinical risk and respond to crises as needed.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities including ACT, CBT, CPT, and DBT.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD).
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license able to work independently without supervision.
• No current, past, or pending disciplinary action on license.
• Full-time resident of the United States.
• Must have office space with ability to see clients in Montana area.

Nice to have

• Experience with caseloads including a comprehensive spectrum of mental health needs, from milder to more complex and severe.
• Ability to work with clients in person through private or group practice is strongly preferred.
