Oberärztin / Oberarzt (w/m/d) Innere Medizin 80-100%

Aufgaben

• Geriatric consultation service at USZ in collaboration with Stadtspital Waid.
• Care for geriatric trauma patients in the Center for Geriatric Traumatology in interdisciplinary collaboration with the Traumatology Clinic.
• Care for patients in the geriatric outpatient clinic, particularly in preoperative assessments.
• Comprehensive and professional care for patients and their relatives.
• Rotating assignments on interdisciplinary pool wards and on the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
• Participation in the senior physician on-call service of the Department of Internal Medicine.
• Supervision and teaching of resident physicians in training, and engagement in their training.

Anforderungen

• FMH specialist title in General Internal Medicine.
• Specialization in geriatrics already acquired or shortly before completion.
• Broad and multi-year clinical experience in General Internal Medicine, ideally with experience in inpatient care and/or on an IMC/ICU.
• Holder of the certificate of competence in Sonography/POCUS or shortly before obtaining it.
• PhD in Medicine completed or shortly before completion.
• Resilient, team-oriented and communicative personality with a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration and training the next generation of doctors.
