Oracle Database Specialist

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Senior Oracle Database Specialist for a technology consulting client in Zurich or Bern. The role involves database optimization, migration management, and client consulting in a hybrid setup.

This position places the specialist as the primary technical advisor for clients across various sectors. Working within a technology consulting environment, the individual will bridge the gap between client needs and technical implementation, operating in a hybrid model based in Zurich or Bern.

Responsibilities

• Streamlining workflows and enhancing the efficiency of Oracle database systems.
• Overseeing platform transitions and tailoring interfaces to integrate with current applications.
• Administering Oracle database infrastructure, which includes software deployment, installation, upgrades, and ensuring robust backup and recovery procedures.
• Collaborating with clients to define requirements and coordinating with technical teams to execute configurations.
• Delivering effective solutions and proactively recommending system enhancements.

Requirements

• Proven background as a Database Administrator or Consultant with deep Oracle Database expertise.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Tuning and RMAN.
• Native-level German language skills or a minimum C2 proficiency.
• Strong command of the English language.
