The company is seeking a Mid-level OT Security Operation Engineer in Zürich to design, operate, and enhance OT security services, ensuring the protection of industrial networks and systems.
This position focuses on the establishment, daily operation, and ongoing enhancement of Operational Technology (OT) security services. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and securing industrial networks, while expanding the company's portfolio to complement existing Managed Security offerings.
Responsibilities
- Detect and investigate OT cyber threats and vulnerabilities to determine their root causes.
- Collaborate on the design and deployment of new OT Security services.
- Address customer inquiries regarding security service performance and details.
- Assist in the delivery and support of various service portfolios.
- Manage change processes, including planning and execution.
- Deploy and maintain OT security solutions to identify and mitigate threats.
- Review security events and contribute to the continuous improvement of the OT security architecture.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience working with OT environments.
- Proficiency in German at a minimum B1 level.
- Proficiency in English at a minimum B1 level.
- Strong operational knowledge of Claroty or Nozomi platforms.
- Solid understanding of routing and switching concepts.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies like DevOps or Scrum.
- Willingness to participate in sporadic on-call duties.
Nice to have
- Ability to communicate in French.
- Experience with firewall, proxy, cloud security, and VPN technologies.
