Participant Journey Coordinator

Pfadibewegung Schweiz seeks a volunteer to coordinate the participant journey for an international scouting event, ensuring seamless logistics and a positive experience for thousands of attendees.

This position focuses on organizing the complete experience for delegations and participants, ensuring that every step from arrival to departure is clear and well-managed. The role is central to enabling a smooth international scouting event for approximately 5,000 participants and 1,000 helpers.

Responsibilities

• Align and streamline various processes throughout the entire delegation journey.
• Oversee check-in and check-out procedures.
• Organize logistics for participant arrivals and departures.
• Manage accreditation systems and ID badge distribution.
• Work with other departments to guarantee an understandable and seamless experience for all attendees.
• Attend monthly 'Höck' meetings with Division Leads.

Requirements

• Commitment of time and enthusiasm for a multi-year volunteer role.
• Interest in shaping and influencing operational processes.
• Ability to structure complex workflows from the participant's viewpoint.
• Skill in connecting different areas and coordinating interfaces.
• Capacity to maintain a clear overview of the project.
• Good proficiency in English or another national language.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in event organization, logistics, or process coordination.
