Lonza seeks a Senior Process Expert for its ADC manufacturing team in Stein, Switzerland. The role focuses on aseptic filling, lyophilization, and line qualification.
The company is looking for a technical specialist to join its antibody drug conjugate (ADC) manufacturing group. This position involves leading troubleshooting efforts on aseptic filling and lyophilization lines, while playing a central part in qualifying new equipment and securing regulatory approval from Swissmedic.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical authority to guarantee efficient and effective production line operations.
- Oversee and assist with the qualification of manufacturing lines to ensure compliance with rigorous industry standards.
- Detect operational weaknesses and develop solutions to resolve or investigate production issues.
- Implement and sustain robust cleanroom management protocols.
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute process enhancements and new operational procedures.
- Champion continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to line operators.
- Handle technical deviations and manage change control processes.
Requirements
- A degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated experience in aseptic filling or aseptic manufacturing within a GMP-regulated environment is mandatory.
- Fluency in English is required.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the qualification of manufacturing equipment is strongly preferred.
- Background in lyophilization processes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
