Bringing diverse concert and professional experience into the professional training of students.
Developing existing formats and study programs together with the subject group and leadership team.
Contributing to the establishment and further development of cooperations within the MAB campus and with regional and international institutions.
Anforderungen
Being an internationally recognized and well-networked artistic personality.
Having a completed university degree in music as well as extensive concert and teaching experience at the university level.
Excelling in didactic skills and having a pronounced pedagogical commitment.
Being familiar with the professional requirements for students and knowing the current developments in concert and music life, especially in the orchestra, chamber music, and solo areas.
Having historically informed performance practice, contemporary music, and chamber music as a self-evident part of your artistic and pedagogical activity.
Having international networking and diverse professional experience.
Identifying with the goals and values of the University of Music Basel FHNW and contributing to an inclusive and enriching university culture.
Having a university didactic qualification or the willingness to acquire it within the first few years (standard for professors).
