Professor of Voice and Jazz Ensembles (30 - 50%)

Responsibilities

• Teach voice as a major subject in bachelor's and master's programs.
• Teach thematic ensemble lessons in Basel.
• Supervise students at all stages of their studies.
• Give individual and group lessons.
• Contribute interdisciplinary skills and work with lecturers on the further development of teaching.

Requirements

• Internationally recognized and well-connected artistic personality.
• Excellent didactic skills and experience in university teaching.
• Familiarity with jazz traditions, trends, and latest developments.
• Style-forming profile within the subject area.
• Ability to inspire students for vocal craftsmanship and artistic-innovative work.
• Relevant degrees and pedagogical qualifications.
• Understanding of the fourfold performance mandate of universities of applied sciences (education, further education, research and services).
