SAP CO Application Manager / SAP S/4HANA (m/f)

BROMsolutions AG seeks a Senior SAP CO Application Manager in Zürich to lead Controlling workstreams within the S/4HANA transformation, bridging Finance and IT.

This position functions as the primary subject matter expert and IT workstream lead for Controlling topics during the SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The incumbent serves as the central connection point between the Finance/Controlling departments and the IT organization, ensuring alignment and successful system implementation.

Responsibilities

• Document and analyze Controlling processes, including CCA, COPA/Margin Analysis, Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation in collaboration with the Shared Service Center and Finance teams.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP/IT Controlling matters throughout the S/4HANA transformation.
• Lead or support IT projects such as system rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Oversee functional specifications, user acceptance testing (UAT), and alignment with key users.
• Work with the Data Platform team to develop reporting and controlling dashboards.
• Maintain data consistency, quality, and security within CO reporting structures.
• Coordinate and manage external partners and vendors.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an Application Manager in Controlling.
• Deep expertise in SAP CO across S/4HANA, Public/Private Cloud, and ECC environments.
• Strong experience integrating SAP CO with FI, MM, PP-PI, and SD modules.
• Hands-on skills in SAP CO configuration and testing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with data models and Data Lake integrations (e.g., Snowflake), SAP BDC, and S/4 Embedded analytics.
• SAP CO certifications.
• Experience with SAP BTP and ServiceNow.
